WHY THIS TREATMENT IS DIFFERENT

Modified Kligman’s Formula is designed for the latter. It combines multiple active ingredients that work through complementary pathways:

• Hydroquinone — inhibits tyrosinase activity and reduces melanin production.
• Kojic Acid — supports pigment reduction by inhibiting tyrosinase.
• Tretinoin — promotes epidermal cell turnover and enhances penetration of topical agents.
• Dexamethasone — a corticosteroid included in the formulation to help reduce inflammatory response associated with the stronger active ingredients.

Combination therapy containing hydroquinone, tretinoin and a topical corticosteroid has long been used in the management of melasma, with supervised triple-combination therapy remaining an important treatment option.

HOW TO USE

Use only according to your individualized prescription or treatment plan. Unless otherwise directed by your practitioner:

• Apply at night to the affected areas after cleansing.
• Use only the amount and frequency prescribed.
• Avoid the eyes, corners of the eyes, nostrils and mouth.
• Do not combine with other potentially irritating active treatments unless specifically instructed.
• Use broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.
• Do not increase frequency or application amount in an attempt to accelerate results.
